Aluminium Domestic and Commercial Doors

SFG and SD commercial door systems have been designed to meet the demands of high use entrances, independently tested to BS6375, and available as a single or double unit. A full range of hardware is available, including double action pivot doors, fire exit, folding sliding and sliding garage doors. Automated gearing can also be incorporated into the system. Doors are constructed from square cut components, mechanically jointed, using self tapping screws into special corner brackets and (or) torsion bars for compressive strength.

Glazing options include single glazing to 12mm, double glazing to 24mm, and 'offset' single glazing towards one side of the door. Security is achieved either by securing special outer beads to the main door structure or using our Fixed Rebate Door Rail Sections.

SPW500 is a commercial thermally broken screening and door system suitable for high traffic and heavy duty commercial applications such as schools, hospitals and leisure facilities. Achieving excellent thermal performance, the system utilises standard commercial door hardware and unique features including radius anti finger trap stiles. Single, double and emergency exit options are available.

Our complete system ranges provide high performance aluminium solutions that are designed to both look well and perform well, for personnel access, emergency escape, automatic entrances and sliding doors. Our SD and SPW500 systems are suitable for high usage applications where a heavy duty solution is desirable and with the added benefit of options for thermal and non-thermal performance.

SPW300 Entrance Doors is a 51mm thermally broken system using a polyamide strip. It Comprises, Single, Double, Inward and Outward opening options, and is complimented by the SPW300 window system. Like the window system it is suited to both commercial applications and as contemporary alternative in the domestic market, constructed using mitred and mechanically crimped corners, with support chevrons and cleats. Integral transoms and mullions are installed by scribing the ends and then either screw fixing or bracket fixing into the outer frames.

SPW600 has the same sight lines as the SPW300 system, but is a 75mm thermally broken system using larger polyamide strips giving even better thermal insulation. 28mm double glazed units are standard, but other unit sizes up to 56mm are possible depending on weight. Each pane of glass is individually inserted into a fully rebated and prepared opening. Glazing beads with an internal option standard on inward opening and an option on outward opening windows. Gasket seals to the inside create a bond between the glass and the main framing members. [click for profile chart]
